My Art
One day I saw an Instagram post, which had a catching picture of a necklace.
The post had nothing to do with the necklace, but at the end the author gave props to whoever made the necklace by crocheting wire.
Crocheting wire? What is this? I could do basic crocheting because of my mother-in-law. This simple post piqued my interest. It also ran me down a big rabbit hole on YouTube on all the different ways to make jewelry.
I was hooked!
My jewelry making took off. I would try any technique once. Surprisingly, most came pretty naturally to me. Wire is great, but I fell in love with knotting. Which led to macramé and macraweaving.
Most of my life I yearned to be able to draw. I’ve dabbled a bit with doodling, but I just couldn’t grasp the concepts. Wire wrapping, using wire, and knotting came to me like I’ve been doing it all of my life. These art forms filled a void I didn’t even know I had.
The shop will be filled with all different types of designs, textures, and colors. Hope you check them out!
